Bio:

Instructor Deran Boman is a veteran and certified NRA instructor with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and an Associates in Law Enforcement. With six  years of military service and more than two decades of hands on firearms experience, he focuses on safe, practical training tailored to civilians and professionals alike. He is also Heartsaver First Aid CPR certified, ensuring safety and preparedness are central to his instruction.

HF Firearms Teaching Philosophy:

Safety is non-negotiable, and true competence comes from genuine understanding. At HF Firearms we focus on teaching the "why" behind every fundamental skill so students truly internalize safe firearm handling, range etiquette, and responsibilities. 

Through patient, personalized instruction-whether in a one-on-one sessions, kids-only classes, or group training- complex topics are broken down into clear, practical steps. We strive to develop responsible, confident gun owners who make informed decisions, not just those who can pass a test.
